Privacy Policy
Last updated: 27 August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how BeSoccer (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit BeSoccer.com and related language versions of the service (the “Service”).

1. Who we are
BeSoccer is an informational sports website that publishes live scores, fixtures, standings, news summaries, and legal highlight / broadcaster links. We do not operate an online betting service and we do not host pirate streams.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide
- Contact messages — if you email us, we receive the address and content you send.
- Optional push subscriptions — if you allow browser notifications, we store a push endpoint needed to deliver alerts.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Session and preference cookies — language choice, session state, and security tokens (for example CSRF / session cookies) required for the site to work.
- Server and security logs — IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamps, and basic diagnostic data used for reliability, abuse prevention, and security.
- Analytics — if enabled, aggregated usage metrics via Google Analytics (or similar) such as pages viewed and approximate geography.
- Favorites stored locally — starred matches/teams may be stored in your browser (local storage) so they persist for you on that device.
2.3 Information we do not intentionally collect
We do not ask for your full name, payment card details, government ID, or precise GPS location to use core scoreboards. We do not sell personal data.
3. Why we use information
- Operate, secure, and improve the Service
- Remember language and session preferences
- Measure traffic and understand which pages are useful
- Send optional match / goal notifications you request
- Respond to support or legal requests
- Prevent fraud, scraping abuse, and service attacks
4. Legal bases (where applicable)
Depending on your location (including EEA/UK users), we rely on one or more of the following:
- Legitimate interests — running a secure sports information site, analytics for product improvement, and abuse prevention
- Consent — optional push notifications and non-essential cookies/analytics where required
- Legal obligation — when we must retain or disclose information to comply with law
5. Cookies and similar technologies
We use essential cookies for sessions, security, and locale. Optional technologies may include analytics cookies and advertising cookies from partners shown on the site. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may break login-less session features such as CSRF-protected forms.
More detail is also described on our Cookies page.
6. Third parties and embeds
The Service may load content or infrastructure from trusted providers, for example:
- Cloudflare — CDN, DNS, and security filtering
- Hosting / server providers — application and database hosting
- Google Analytics — optional traffic analytics
- YouTube / Google — embedded official highlight players (their own terms and privacy policies apply when you play embeds)
- Advertising partners — display ads may set cookies or collect device identifiers according to their policies
- Sports data providers — fixtures, scores, and media metadata used to power the boards
These providers process data under their own privacy policies. We configure them for Service delivery and do not authorize them to sell your data on our behalf.
7. Advertising
We may show third-party advertisements (including affiliate creatives). Ad partners may use cookies or similar IDs to measure impressions and combat fraud. We do not control every advertiser pixel; please review partner policies and your browser controls.
8. Data retention
- Session cookies typically expire after the browser session or a short fixed period
- Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and operations (usually a limited rolling window)
- Push subscription endpoints are kept until you unsubscribe or the endpoint becomes invalid
- Email correspondence is retained as needed to handle your request
9. International transfers
Our infrastructure and vendors may process data in countries other than your own (including the United States and EU). Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards used by those providers (such as standard contractual clauses).
10. Your rights
Subject to local law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent for optional features. To exercise rights, email [email protected] with enough detail for us to locate your data (for example approximate dates and the email or push endpoint involved).
You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe processing violates applicable law.
11. Children
The Service is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 16 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it where required.
12. Security
We use industry-standard measures appropriate to a public website (HTTPS, hardened hosting, access controls, and abuse filtering). No online service is 100% secure; please use a modern browser and avoid sharing sensitive information by email unless necessary.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Service after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
